CDIC Society to Host
3rd Annual Fall Course
2009–2010 Southern Society Board of Directors

The CDIC Society for Coatings Technology will celebrate the “glory of
color” at its 3rd annual CDIC Fall
Course. To be held on November 3,
2009, at Battelle Memorial Institute,
Columbus, OH, the course will explore
organic color pigments.
Serving as an instructor will be
Romesh Kumar, of Clariant. Dr. Kumar
will discuss the application of various
chemistries for coatings, inks, and plastics. In addition, the course will cover
inorganic color pigment chemistries
and their uses.
Also presenting will be David Story,
from BASF, who will discuss IR heat
reflective pigments.
The course is free to CDIC members;
$75 for nonmembers, and a discounted
registration of $30 will be offered for
members of other Societies.
