Dispersion Blade
Norstone, Inc. has modified its Poly-blade® dispersion blade product to now
feature a dynamically balanced stainless
steel plate with replaceable high shear
pegs. The plate enhancement reportedly
gives the blade a more aggressive dispersion action. Trials have shown it to disperse at higher viscosities, have faster
grind time, and lower amp draw. For additional details: 215.635.1366 or www.

Wet State Preservative
Troy Corporation has received Canadian approval for the wet state preservative Mergal® BIT20, which contains the
active 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT).
The Pest Management Regulatory
Agency (PMRA) in Canada has determined that Mergal BIT20 is eligible for
full registration pursuant to the Pest
Control Products Act (PCPA) as an industrial preservative. Mergal BIT20 is a
broad-spectrum preservative developed
to protect water-based products from
the growth of detrimental microorganisms. The products have been approved
in Canada for use to protect latex emulsions, metalworking fluids, aqueous-based paints, and aqueous mineral slur-ries. Mergal BIT20 inhibits microbial
growth, which reduces spoilage. For further details: markerting@troycorp.com
